THE BERGERAC VINEYARD

Champions of meals with friends

Having a barbecue with friends? The bold red Bergerac is already flirting with your prime rib of beef… Enjoying oysters at the bar? With a dry white Bergerac, naturally!  And to echo the soft glow of a fireplace on New Year’s Eve, a sweet Côtes de Bergerac would simply be perfect. Bergerac wines excel at any occasion, whether planned or a question of opportunity!

THE DURAS VINEYARD

Rebels, by definition, resist. And resistance is the key element in winemaking as it requires both courage and tenacity. The history of Duras wines is populated by wilful rebels like the Viscount de Bezaume, who was behind the construction of the proud Château de Duras. But make no mistake about it, the rebellious attitude of these winegrowers is equalled only by their generosity, like their characterful wines available in 4 colours.

THE MONBAZILLAC VINEYARD

Monbazillac

Worthy heirs of ancestral expertise, the winegrowers of Monbazillac have brilliantly taken up the challenge of modernising with their modern-tasting dessert wines, worked with finesse and aromatic complexity. Their freshness warms hearts throughout the year! An efficient classic as an aperitif with some foie gras on toast. Sublime with a main course for a festive bird prepared with Monbazillac. Surprising with a blue cheese like Roquefort. And finally, just perfect with dessert served with a tropical yule log.  QED!   CQFD !

THE VINEYARD OF PECHARMANT

A vineyard of gentlemen farmers

At the edge of Bergerac, in the heart of the old Vinée Nord, châteaux and beautiful homes are scattered throughout the vines. This appellation boasts a remarkable natural and managed biodiversity with its woods, orchards and meadows where elegant horses graze. Charming and deliciously capricious, its winegrowers, real gentlemen farmers, help make this corner of the countryside unforgettable, just like the wines they produce: Pécharmant’s intense and chiselled reds.

THE SAUSSIGNAC VINEYARD

Saussignac

Nature’s guardians

Live happily by preserving our haven of peace and nature! This could be the motto of the Saussignac winegrowers, most of whom use organic farming methods. They produce elegant and ethereal dessert wines, perfect companions for our festive meals. Ideally rural with its sumptuous hillsides, the vineyard is the perfect place to reconnect with yourself and nature with its eco-friendly accommodation amongst the vines, restaurants for fine dining and exceptional wineries.

THE ROSETTE VINEYARD

Rosette

The gentle adventurers

Rosette is a story about rebirth. In the early 2000s, there were only four die-hard wineries left determined to produce Rosette. The appellation had all but disappeared! This was without taking into account a handful of gentle adventurers, young winemakers new to the area who took on the crazy gamble of relaunching the appellation. We owe them the rebirth of this fresh, delicate and terribly trendy sweet wine! A rare gift to treat someone exceptional?

THE MONTRAVEL VINEYARD

Humanist winegrowers

If wine is not fundamental to the human diet, it does seem essential for the spirit and contributes to the grandeur of the soul. Michel Eyquem de Montaigne, pioneering philosopher of the humanist movement, born in 1533 on the edge of the Montravel appellation, would agree. Available in 4 colours – dry white, sweet white, dessert and red – Montravel wines have the finesse and freshness of their terroir.
